Hold it the way you naturally would.
Use the full handle, cup the side, or support the tapered base. Each grip feels intentional instead of improvised.
The 400-hour design story
Ashley kept noticing the same little annoyances: handles that only fit two fingers, mugs that became too hot in the microwave, and bases that were awkward to grip on the way into the dishwasher. The design started there.

Designed around touch
The rim, handle, base, and glaze each do a different job. Together, they make the mug easier to hold, easier to heat, and easier to live with.
Use the full handle, cup the side, or support the tapered base. Each grip feels intentional instead of improvised.
The satin-matte ivory glaze feels special in your hands, then goes straight into the microwave or dishwasher.
It looks at home beside the coffee machine and works hard enough to be used again tomorrow morning.

How it was made
A few early ideas failed. That was useful. Each attempt made the mug more consistent without losing what felt so good about the first hand-thrown versions.
Handles that pinched, bodies that overheated, and shapes that fought you at the dishwasher became the first design brief.
Those mugs had warmth and personality. They also varied too much from one piece to the next for the experience to feel dependable.
We combined the best prototypes into a mold, tried slip casting, and moved to ram pressing when the first production method did not work.
The cone-10 body is pressed for consistency, then given an extruded handle and multiple coats of hand-sprayed lead-free glaze.
Bring home the finished versionThe 400-hour design work comes down to one daily mug.
Why it costs more
The extra work shows up in the places you actually notice: the handle, the rim, the microwave, the dishwasher, and whether you reach for it again tomorrow.
The handle fits three fingers, curves inward for a two-handed hold, and keeps a comfortable temperature during normal microwave use.
Use it, heat it, leave it on the counter, and put it in the dishwasher. The design was made for repetition.
Easy to give and considered enough to become the mug they reach for every morning.

Customer proof
"I like the weight of it, the way my hand feels when I hold it, and the way it is when I sip my tea or coffee."
She bought two and kept both for herself. After a few more arrived, the family and the guests were finally allowed to use them too.

Made for the quiet part of the morning
It fits beneath the coffee machine, looks at home on the counter, and feels just as right with the paper as it does with a slow cup of tea.
