The Lavoratti company was established in 1938 in Varazze, along the western Ligurian coast of Italy. From its humble beginnings selling sweets and drinks from a wooden box to beachgoers, the brand quickly became a globally renowned name. 

In 2020, the brand was acquired by Fabio Fazio and Davide Petrini, both having a deep respect for tradition and a love for chocolate spanning generations. Born in Vernazza, Fabio Fazio fondly recalls his childhood with Lavoratti Chocolates, stating, “The days immediately before Easter were full of a magical, unrepeatable anticipation. I can still feel that smell of chocolate on me, it was so desired, it filled the room, and it had to be consumed carefully so that it would last the longest time possible.”
