Open Conversations and Human Connection

On the Table with Ashley is a podcast of engaging conversations presented by luxury home goods brand, Âme Atendre. Join host Ashley Gould as she speaks with an inspirational and diverse group of individuals on their varied life experiences and professions. On the Table with Ashley covers the topics people so often leave off the table, with the goal of increasing human connection through curiosity, respect, and understanding.

On the Table with Ashley uses each interview as an opportunity to show how difficult and sometimes uncomfortable conversations are the ones worth having.

Ashley approaches each interview with a constructive and open lens. Episodes lean into the facets of every topic with the same core principals – mindful listening, compassion, and sometimes polite disagreement.

Ashley embraces the inspirational nuances of each guest’s lived experiences and doesn’t shy away from introspective, emotional, and complicated conversations. By going deeper, we not only explore the subject at hand but demonstrate how respecting varying perspectives and engaging in intimate, oftentimes provocative conversation without judgment leads to understanding, acceptance, and community.

Âme Atendre explores how surrounding ourselves with functional and beautiful objects helps us to feel “taken care of in our spaces” and in turn incentivizes us to take care of one another. Tying in this philosophy Ashley explores with guests how objects, the ones from our pasts and the ones we collect throughout our lives, connect us to the present moment and to one another.
